Andrew Pope’s Fight Against Cancer

Andrew Pope is a hard working father and husband. He is a very dedicated employee and always committed to his job as a communication tech for ten years. A family man always there to take the best care of his wife and two children. A guy that is always on the go and always looking for something to keep him busy.

In July 2020 in the midst of Covid, the Pope family was given some bad news. At only 30 years old Andrew was diagnosed with testicular cancer after a tumour was found. The tumour was successfully removed and doctors continued to monitor with scans and blood work to ensure the cancer did not return.

Dec 11, 2020 The Pope family was given another blow when given the news that cancer had spread to Andrew’s lung. He has begun an intense chemotherapy schedule to fight this spread, leaving him unable to work for at least the next few months. His wife Kelsey, cares for their two young children, Brooke and David, leaving them without income as Andy continues to fight this terrible disease. 

Andy must be extremely careful due to the dangers of being immunocompromised during chemotherapy. With Covid 19 concerns on top of this, even more precautions must be taken which unfortunately leaves Andy and Kelsey unable to lean on in-person support from family and friends. 

Things are going to be hard enough for Andy, Kelsey and family in the coming months without having to worry financially as well. All donations will go to the Pope family to help with bills, meals and medical expenses as they navigate through the next few months.
