Support for the Pratt Family

Jenna and Logan Pratt and their daughter, Eliza, will welcome their baby boy to their loving family in May 2018. They are extremely excited and eager to meet their new baby, but this excitement also comes with additional worry for them. They learned earlier in the pregnancy that their little boy has a congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) . The care for this heart defect includes a series of open heart surgeries beginning immediately after birth. The Pratts  are facing this diagnosis bravely and have made some major adjustments in their life including moving to a new home to accommodate family who will come to provide support and assistance. They have insurance that will cover a good portion of the medical costs. Unfortunately though, the surgeries will require Jenna to be on unpaid leave longer than a typical maternity leave as she cares for her son through his surgeries.

 

We are hoping to alleviate some of the financial strain for this precious family so they can focus all of their attention into supporting, nurturing, and loving their baby as he heals from his surgeries.
