Support for the Pritchard Family
On August 30th, 2021, heaven gained another angel - Colin Pritchard, 17, would’ve been a senior at Kentlake High School this year and should’ve had a full life ahead of him. In December 2020, he was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma which is an extremely rare cancer that forms tumors all over your bones and soft tissues. Over the past 10 months, he had fought an unbelievable and relentless battle against this cancer which eventually consumed him.
This loss will be felt heavily for a long time to come by everyone who loved him and to say that this is an unfair situation is an understatement. Those who knew Colin will remember him for his contagious smile, positive attitude, kind heart and his love for the game of basketball. His family and friends are now left with a hole forever in their hearts and they need our help, love and support while they learn a new way of life without their beloved Colin.
This GoFundMe has been created to help the Pritchard Family cover his celebration of life and medical expenses. In honor of Colin's legacy, the family will be donating whatever is leftover to Childhood Cancer Awareness, Footprints of Fight and Children's Hospital. Please feel free to share with others so everyone can share his story and carry him in their hearts too.
I’m sure some of you are also wondering who I am. I have had the pleasure of working with Kelly at PAPÉ for the last 13 years and his family is dear to my heart. As a mother of a 4 year old boy, I can only imagine the pain they are going through. Their story is a good reminder to go home and hug your loved ones. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for all your generous donations!
