Support for Tabitha Groelle and Her Family

Many of you have reached out, asking how you can help our colleague and friend, Tabitha Groelle, the Business Officer for the Finance Division, during this incredibly challenging time for her and her family.

As many of you know, Tabitha’s husband, Earl, was involved in a serious car accident on January 3, 2022, sustaining multiple injuries, including broken ribs and both legs. He has undergone numerous surgeries over the past couple of years in an effort to walk unassisted. Sadly, during his ongoing recovery, Earl was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a type of cancer affecting the blood and bone marrow, and is currently undergoing intense chemotherapy.

In addition to being Earl's primary caregiver throughout this time, Tabitha is now facing her own health battle, having recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She will soon be undergoing chemotherapy, followed by surgery.

This has been extremely overwhelming for their entire family.

For those who feel moved to help, a GoFundMe has been set up to ease their burdens and allow them to focus on healing.
