SUPPORT FOR THE TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY IN GHANA

My name is Angel Maxine and I am Ghana's first transgender Musician.
Among my priorities is being able to raise funds to help the less privileged in my country and also create an organization for people born different. I would be very grateful to get your support in this regard.
It is extremely difficult to get help from people here because of the prejudice I face as a transgender but I am not giving up.
Also, I want to be able to support people like me in my country since I know how difficult it is living in a country like Ghana as a transgender.
Sometimes I fear for my life because of the kind of threat I receive from people who do not even know me.
Already, I have many people depending on me for financial support, that is, money to buy food, get shelter and also learn a trade .
I have the strong conviction that if I am able to get funds to support my music career, I can continue to be the voice of the voiceless and also encourage people like me to come out of their shells and be who they really want to be.
Being able to support people in my community, with the basic necessities they need to survive, especially during this pandemic would go a long way in improving lives and teaching the people that indeed a transgender is not an evil person.
Doing this would make it possible for me to create a very positive impact in my country and try to eliminate the negative things people say about the LGBT community.
I wish the world will be a very safe place for everyone despite their sexual identities, orientations, choices and religious beliefs.
I would be extremely grateful if I get the support I request of you.
