First and foremost, Shawn was a loving husband and father who fought a valiant battle against cancer for over five years, inspiring us all with his resilience and determination. Regrettably, he has left us, leaving behind a void that resonates not only in our hearts but also in the communities he has so passionately contributed to.

In his absence, the family business has closed, stripping away the sole source of income for his loved ones. We are reaching out for your support during this challenging time. Shawn's impact on everyone he touched is immeasurable, and now, it is our turn to give back.

In addition to being a loving husband and father; Shawn was more than a skilled technician; he was a visionary who spent decades shaping the Offroad, VW, and performance communities. His builds, featured in publications like Euro Tuner, Max Power, and Performance VW, were a testament to his expertise and innovative spirit. Beyond the magazines, Shawn's influence extended to countless techs and home wrenches he mentored, fostering a new generation of talent. Shawn had an energy you could not resist; he was an influencer (before that was a dirty word ;-)⁠). He loved sharing his energy and passion with anyone and would revel in watching them become engaged in turning wrenches.

Our goal is to provide enough support so his family can focus on healing without the added worry of financial strain. Let's rally together to raise funds to help alleviate the financial burden on Shawn's family as they grieve. Life will never be the same for anyone touched by Shawn. However, time will move, we will adjust to this new reality, and Tricia, Sienna and Gunnar will thrive in memory of their husband and father.
