My name is Victoria, and I am a teacher at our small, rural high school where the Wagnon family has dedicated their lives to serving our students and community. Officer Robert Wagnon, a proud Navy veteran, and his wife Angelle, our beloved librarian, have always gone above and beyond to build positive relationships with our students. After experiencing severe symptoms leading up to Christmas 2024, Angelle was hospitalized and stabilized, but her health has continued to decline. Recently, her cardiologist delivered the heartbreaking news that she is likely in need of a heart transplant.

As they navigate this difficult journey, the Wagnons are also facing the reality of making significant changes to their home to accommodate Angelle’s health needs. This includes removing carpets, installing wood floors, and making their home more accessible. These adjustments, along with the emotional and financial burdens of her medical care, are overwhelming.
