Support for the Watson-StLouis family tragedy

My name is Erica St.Louis. I am starting this page in support of my sister Aubrie St.Louis and her two sweet little boys (Leo-5 and Arthur-14 months).

As many in the community are aware, our tight-knit family suffered an unimaginable tragedy on Monday morning October 16th, 2023. In the early morning hours, Aubrie's husband Gunnar, was fatally shot by an unknown assailant while standing inside their family home getting ready for work with Aubrie.

In the days following his passing, I have been here with my family processing the enormity of this event and helping to anticipate the need for support as Aubrie and the boys attempt to move forward from it. This fundraiser is one of the ways we hope to meet a need for her.

Gunnar was a loving and engaged husband, a doting father, exemplary soldier, dear friend, cherished brother, son, uncle and one of the most kind-hearted and humble individuals you'd ever meet. He is deeply missed by all of us, especially his wife and little boys.

I have started this GoFundMe as an initial means of fielding the financial donations that have been shared so far as well as all the requests of where people can donate in the future. This account is directly linked to Aubrie. As she has had to slow her business and focus on healing for the foreseeable future, we would like to ease the immediate financial pressure while she navigates the next steps.

Any funds donated beyond the goal amount will be placed in savings for living expenses in the future.
