Hello, my name is Lyndi Thompson.

Unfortunately we lost a big part of our lives today. My three siblings and I lost a father today, our kids lost a grandfather today, my mother lost a husband today, my Aunt and Uncle lost a brother today. These aren’t things you prepare for when you least expect them to happen.

My father was a big part of the community as a police officer in Lafayette County for thirteen years, he loved serving and protecting those in our little tight knit community before retiring in 2017. He loved all of his children, and grandkids. We are left with the burden of a loss and a financial crisis as this wasn’t an expected situation. I am asking for all the help that we can get right now, and please know that it will be greatly appreciated. These funds will go straight to funeral costs and other related expenses it may bring. Thank you all for taking the time to read this, and for those who knew my dad personally I appreciate all the support and love being sent our way at this time. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
