Love and Support for the Tidwell Girls

Hi. My name is Kristen Andrews, a Kaiser Permanente colleague and friend of Lakiesha Tidwell, who sadly passed away on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, after bravely fighting brain cancer. Lakiesha’s passing has been heartbreaking to hear and feels even more magnified as it comes not even 2 1/2 years after the unexpected passing of her beloved husband, Carter, on July 5th, 2020. Lakiesha, Carter and their girls were strong and faithful believers of Jehovah. Their love for each other and their twin daughters, Amirah and Sariah, was shadowed only by their love of Jehovah. Having blessed the lives of so many by walking as true disciples of their faith and just being amazing human beings, we wish to honor their legacy of love, kindness, friendship, and joy. The benefactors of this Go Fund Me are Lakiesha and Carter’s 15 year old daughters, who are now under the loving care and guardianship of Carter’s sister, Allison, and her husband, Ben. While they mourn the loss of Lakiesha and work towards arranging a memorial service in the next few weeks, we hope our donations will help lighten any financial burden and show them the love they are surrounded by so their minds and hearts can focus on healing and their reunion on the resurrection day.
