Support for Tim & Joanna Heitz

Hello friends and family, my name is Andy and I'm here hoping to support my beloved brother Tim, and sister-in-law Joanna, as they begin the next chapter of their lives after suffering the devastating and unimaginable loss of their beautiful home in Altadena, California due to the horrific Eaton Fire in Southern California.

On the evening of Tuesday January 7th, the Eaton fires had began to break out in the charming foothills community Altadena, and in the early morning hours Tim and Jo, along with their pup Penny, heeding the evacuation notice left with what they could, hoping to return once all was clear.

Heartbreakingly Thursday night they were able to confirm with their neighbors anyone's worse fear. The home they had poured their heart and soul into, was now gone.

Tim and Jo bought the home, their first, in the fall of 2019. Hosting friends and family for dinner and pool side hangouts. The home was a safe and comforting place in the early days of the covid 19 pandemic, and a warming gathering place for friends and family as the world slowly started to open again. A cozy place to work from home, and cherished place to return to after a days work once back in the office.

Their home was infused through and through with both Tim and Jo's keen eye and taste for art and design, and was truly a beloved home by not only them, but also by their friends and family through the years.

It feels so surreal to write out this gofundme and to ask for this help, an ask that Tim and Jo could never imagine. These tragic circumstances will take unknown efforts and resources to come back from. As they begin to navigate these unknowns I humbly ask friends, family, and anyone who know and love Tim and Joanna, to donate whatever you may be able to assist with all that lies ahead for them.

Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by these fires, and I hope everyone receives the help and support they need.
