I am the owner of Tonic at Quigley’s restaurant located in Washington DC. Last month I had to lay off over 80 good-hearted, hard-working people due to COVID-19. I am sitting in my empty restaurant thinking about all the wonderful people who worked here. In the restaurant business, the people you work with become the family you choose. I want to try do anything I can to help the Tonic family, the family I chose.
The collected funds will be distributed only to furloughed Tonic employees based on degree of need.
