Carl Quinn, a long-time thought leader and luminary member of the software development community and industry, passed away from a COVID-19 related cardiac arrest on March 31st, 2020. Carl was a kind, wonderful human.

I (Jim Holmes) organized this when I heard of Carl's death. I'd met Carl and Tracy at CodeMash, a software development conference I helped run. They both participated in the conference for several years.
These funds will help Tracy cover funeral expenses and anything she might need as she tries to piece her life back together. Having lost my own wife in a tragedy three years ago I know how wonderful the support through these GFMs is! Tracy is currently listed as the campaign's beneficiary, and is the only person who will be withdrawing money. She'll do that as she needs.
