Support for Trey & the Baylis Family

Hello, my name is Melissa and I am fundraising for this amazing family. I have known the Baylis family for the last 18 years, and know they have never asked for anything. Today I will ask for them. Their youngest son of three, Trey Baylis, has been in and out of the hospital for the last 2 weeks, with no answers and little help. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Roger who is self-employed and Elishia have been unable to work and need our help during this difficult time.

After much persistence from Trey’s parents, they were able to see after 14 days that Trey has aneurysms in his heart and has been diagnosed with Kawasaki’s Disease. The family, residing in Amherstburg, has been back and forth to the hospital multiple times a day and require child care for their other two children at home. Let's try to ease the family’s financial burdens so they can focus on the journey ahead and being there for Trey. Any size donation helps and is very much appreciated.

We need some prayers everyone!!! I cannot even believe I am writing this.

For those of you who have been following our journey at all that started two weeks ago, we did not get many answers with various different symptoms and testing.

The last 48 hours I pushed for the Doctors to test for Kawasaki's Disease because and give him an echocardiogram. They gave him one today and I was hoping to get the call everything was clear and I was just being the crazy paranoid mom.

Unfortunately, things went very differently and we got the call to come in immediately to get treated because they found aneurysms in his heart. The worst part is we have passed the 10 day window of treatment and are at 13 days.

He is being monitored. We are furious, frustrated and extremely hurt and upset this is happening. Please pray that our Trey Trey pulls through this and that we have the strength to get through it with him!
