Support for typhoon Odette damage Philippines
Donation protected
Dear dear donors,
we have received an overwhelming amount. As soon as it is in the Philippines our employees and their families will get their part. You can follow our social media pages and a special newsletter to see what is done with the money.
Again, thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts!
Arie and Desiree and the whole Magic family
As you may have seen, a few days ago the Philippines was hit by a super typhoon category 5 with wind speeds up to 175miles/hour. The center of the typhoon went over Cebu and Bohol and caused massive havoc. The number of casualties is not known yet but run in the hundreds. Thousands of electricity poles are down, many houses damaged and destroyed, boats, infrastructure, etc. Both our resorts were also hit, but we sustained damage that is easily repaired. The good news is that all our employees are well, but many have severe damage or even lost their house. As communication is still very difficult, the size of this catastrophe is not clear, but it is massive. It will take months to get electricity and other infrastructure repaired, but the biggest problem will be, is already, drinking water.

After 2 difficult years with covid many employees with their families have lost faith and are desperate. We ask your financial support for our teams to help them rebuild and repair their homes, their lives and their country. We guarantee that your support will go directly to our employees, and we will keep you informed of what is done with your help.
Magic Resorts has 80 Filipino employees and our target is therefore to collect Dollar 10.000
Thank you very much,
Arie and Desiree
