Support for Ukrainians in Poland

Hi There,

The reason for this fundraising is simple, help people who offered help.

There are already more than a million Ukrainians in Poland that have crossed the border over the last few days.

Lots of those people are being taken by complete strangers under their roofs, a pure act of goodness and compassion.

Unforutnelly hosting another family for some is quite a burden long term so my aim is to help them with day-to-day expenses for food, baby products, and other expenses.

A few dollars a week will help someone get through it easier and also feel that act of good does not go unheard.

The plan is to be in touch with those families who are hosting refugees and directly give them access to money to cover expenses or via some on-the-ground help (friends who volunteer daily for helping, starting from shopping, organizing some activities for kids, etc).

There is more and more organized help to get any type of products that are needed on the Ukrainian side hence for now the charities and organizations are asking to not bring random products at the border. In case the war continues we might use some of the funds to get medical supplies into Ukraine as well.
