Humanitarian Support for Kherson, Ukraine
Donation protected
Please join Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV) and friends of Kherson in providing humanitarian support to our families and friends in the Russian-occupied Kherson Oblast.
We are organizing to collect resources on behalf of Union of Help to Kherson, a community-based, registered, Ukrainian NGO, whose mission is to aid in the collection and distribution of humanitarian aid to the people of the Kherson region, and to support future rebuilding efforts to bring life back to this beloved land.
The situation in Kherson is dire. Russian occupation of the region has completely closed off access to humanitarian aid and assistance. Unlike other regions of Ukraine that are currently receiving an influx of support, Kherson is among the few areas that have remained isolated since becoming occupied several weeks ago. Union of Help to Kherson is providing trusted community leaders, organizers, and volunteers of the Kherson Oblast with micro-grants to purchase and deliver the food, clothes, medicine, and other basic necessities to keep their neighbors alive. This grassroots effort is ensuring the children, families, frontline workers, and communities in the region get what they need most. It’s a global network of neighbors helping neighbors.
