Support for VanGilder Family's Tornado Recovery

Donation protected
My name is Jeff Heptig and we are raising money to help my sister and brother in law, JT and Ashley VanGilder, from their house being destroyed by the Westmoreland tornado on 4/30/2024.

Ashley and JT have 4 boys ranging from 10 years to 6 months old. JT was home with their 8yo and they hunkered down in the middle hallway. By the grace of God this was the only area of the home that wasn’t damaged, outside of the roof being torn off.

Ashley is a teacher at Rock Creek and JT is Director of IT at Manhattan Christian College. Both are very active in their church, First Christian Church.

The funds will be used to help start the process of replacing every day items and to help get them back on their feet. We were able to salvage a few items from the tornado but most of what was there was destroyed. They are starting the long process of cleaning up what was salvaged as well as trying to manage living arrangements and working with insurance to figure out next steps. Any money contributed would be very much appreciated and we thank you for your time and generosity.
