Support For Vicki Verso

Vicki was in a traumatic car accident Friday October 27th. She suffered an aortic dissection (tear in her aorta of her heart) which was repaired in emergency heart surgery. She fractured her C2 and L1 vertebrae as well as multiple facial fractures, broken ribs and some brain bleeding, 25 stitches in her forehead as well as 24 staples on her head. Due to her C2 fracture there was a minor complication during her surgery where they had to reroute her blood flow to her left arm, resulting in decrease blood flow and strength. As of October 28th, she’s currently intubated and medically stable. She has been able to initiate some breathing on her own, moving her extremities, occasionally opening her eyes, squeezing our hands and even gave a thumbs up! She’s a warrior and showing so much strength and progression in the last 24 hours. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her and we made this page to try and support her in any way we can.
