Support for Vicknair Family in Tragic Times

Hello Everyone! My name is Candice Cooper, Co-Founder of the Austin Honey Badgers Track Club and I am pleading with our community to support the Vicknair Family.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lyndsey Vicknair, a beloved member of our Austin Honey Badger community. Lyndsey was a victim of senseless violence during the Juneteenth Celebration on June 15, 2024, in Round Rock, Texas at Old Settlers Park. She leaves behind her husband, Kevin Vicknair, and their three young children: Kenzi (7, affectionately known as "Shoestrings" by Coach Cooper), Kairo (4), and Kya (1).

Lyndsey's life was marked by her contagious smile, thoughtfulness, and her unwavering willingness to help others. Her absence is felt deeply by all who knew her.

We have created this GoFundMe to support the Vicknair family during this incredibly difficult time. All proceeds will go towards family expenses and compensating for the loss of income. Kevin will now have to support the children alone.
