Support for Vince MacLean

Hi, My name is Darlene MacLean. It is with overwhelming hearts myself & family are creating a GoFundMe for my brother Vince MacLean. We request support (only if you can) to help raise funds for Vinces medical expenses & travel to have a procedure performed at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. This will curtail and or cure his B9 Essential Tremor that has worsened in the last few years in both hands & arms. It affects quality of everyday life in a big way, that even to drink a glass of water is a huge task. His tremor causes extreme fatigue, along with trying to manage other serious health issues and bad headaches. Everyday tasks get harder to perform, so much so some days all he can do is rest. He is also dealing with his non- hodgkins lymphoma.

Neurosurgeons at Sunnybrook hospital has accepted Vince as a patient for this specialized procedure. He received his acceptance call last week. He could go anytime between two weeks and two months. The family are contributing what we can, but it may not be enough. He requires four trips to complete the process. The main surgery is not covered, so we are waiting for MSI to approve a percentage. Then there is travel, hotels & hospital stay.

Vince is a kind, generous man who has volunteered with many organizations in the past to help others. Also a volunteer fireman with Mira Road for over 30+ years. It's his turn to be helped.
