Support for Vincent's Family in Tragic Loss

On behalf of my family, I’ve set up a GoFundMe account to help lay to rest my brother, 14 year old Vincent Pieczynski or as many knew him, Vinny Pie #24.

One day after my brother’s 8th grade graduation, he was hit by a car riding his bike home. Vincent was doing what many kids do everyday. It was a tragic and horrible accident. An unfair life altering event that caused an untimely passing of a true angel on earth. However we are fortunate that Vinny held on for 6 days after his accident to allow his family and friends time to come and share their favorite stories and say their goodbyes.

Those who know Vinny, know he was a kind, smart, strong and hard working young man. Vincent was the best son, brother and friend a guy could ask for. That’s why we knew Vincent would want to be an organ donor. So despite this being the most difficult time of our family’s life, we find peace knowing Vinny’s heart will beat on. Vincent is helping to save other people’s lives with his gifts and we are so proud of him.

Vin was an athlete who played football and lacrosse. His goal going into high school was to play varsity football and lacrosse by his junior year. We couldn’t be more proud of the beautiful young man Vincent grew to be. He did make it to that big school and he did love like no other.

Our family truly doesn’t know how we will go on without him.
