Support for Vital Surgery and New Beginnings

This is something I never thought I would need to do. Unfortunatly several events recently have made asking for help necessary. On August 16th I was in a major car accident that totalled my car. Thankfully I was not seriously injured but it did deplete my savings due to needing a new car and insurance not covering everything I needed. Also in August I had a serious sinus infection that got way out of control and caused serious damage to my sinus and mouth. That has caused major difficulty with talking, eating, and drinking. I’ve also lost over 20 lbs. I will need maxiofacial surgery to reconstruct my sinus and the roof of my mouth. I may even lose teeth in the process. What has brought me here is on September 30th my employer informed me that my department is being eliminated. I was hired in March so my severance will be tiny (2 weeks pay) and I will be losing my income and health insurance as of November 15. This surgery is not only necessary for quality of life but because the roof of my mouth is compromised I will continue to get infections until this is fixed. Infections in the sinus and mouth uncontrolled can be deadly. I have found a maxiofacial surgeon in Nashville and the earliest consultation I was able to get is October 29, 2024 so my surgery will almost certainly be after my employment and insurance have lapsed. With absoulute humility I ask my friends to please donate what they can and please share this to anyone else. Honestly I'm embarassed to have to ask but I just don't see any other option.
