Support for William Tighe's Family in Need

Hi everyone. My name is Sarah Tighe and I'm the oldest sibling of 5. On March 26th, my family received horrific news that my father, William Tighe, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The team at Memorial Sloan Kettering was phenomenal and did all that they could, but his cancer was too aggressive. My father passed away May 15th. He did bless me by sticking around an extra day to spend my birthday with me (May 14).

My mother Danielle, who was married to him for 29 years, and my siblings, Kaitlyn (20), Brendan (19), Kevin (13), and Megyn (8) are devastated. We are all trying to stay strong during these times and rely on each other for support. However, my father was the sole provider of the family, and had no afterlife arrangements prepared for my mother. My mother, although the hardest worker I know, does not have the most financially supportive job.

I know times are difficult for everyone, but if you have the means, to donate some money for my mother during these times. She is now a widow with cost. From all her recent travel cost to hospitals, funeral expenses, and future moving cost and finding a new place to live, it's overwhelming. She has never asked for help in the past. I know any amount would make her extremely appreciative.

My only personal ask is to love your loved ones. You never know when it could be their last day. Make your peace, tell them you love them, and enjoy every moment.
