Support for Wiremu Kahui, Haylee & The Boys

Kia Ora Whanau & Friends,  Our brother Wiremu is currently in a critical condition as the result of what can only be described as a horrific accident.  Wiremu was playing the game he loved most and was tragically involved in an incident that has left him fighting for his life. During this time we have all faced the struggle and frustration of not knowing how we can show support and most importantly love to our dear Kahui whanau. With the current restrictions there are countless people who have reached out to send heartfelt support messages without being able to physically be in Perth with them.  The plan is, we can all show the Kahui whanau how much Aroha is with them right now.  Wiremu is the primary provider for his family. The concern is with his current state he will never again be able to provide for his wife Haylee and 4 sons Damian, Julian, Eli and Baby Marley.  As a family, we can work together to support our brother Wiremu. Wiremu once told me that we are the Small Axe.  The financial burdens of day to day life they will soon face is the big tree.  Together we can be that small axe, sharp and ready to cut down this big tree.  Ahakoa he iti, He pounamu.
