Support for Zoe & Paris After Suffering an Unimaginable Loss

Our dear friends Zoe and Paris are navigating an unimaginable loss. Just days after losing their closest friend, Lauren, to bone cancer, they also had to say goodbye to their beloved mother, Robin Nicole, who passed away from breast cancer. Robin was a force of love, resilience, and sacrifice—a single mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her children, always showing up no matter the circumstance.

Despite dedicating her life to building a secure future for Zoe and Paris, Robin was wrongfully discriminated against and fired from her last job for being Black and disabled. Forced to drain her savings, trusts, and bank accounts to pay for cancer treatment and healthcare, she lost everything she had set aside for her children. To be closer to care, she relocated to Texas, where the financial strain became even greater. Unable to afford her life insurance payments, she lost her policy—something Zoe and Paris only discovered on the day of her passing.

Now, as they grieve this profound loss, Zoe and Paris face immense financial and emotional burdens. This fundraiser will give them the space to mourn without the weight of immediate financial stress. Funds will go toward:

Travel Expenses – Covering costs to and from Texas to handle their mother’s post-mortem affairs, attend her funeral and memorial, and settle her estate while also attending the memorial and funeral services for Lauren back home in LA almost simultaneously.

Lost Wages – Helping them stay afloat as they take necessary time off work to grieve and manage logistics.

Therapy & Mental Health Support – Providing the care they need to navigate this devastating period.
