Help Support Forrest's Medical Journey

If you know me, you know how important my two animals are to me. And if you know me, you also know how hard it is for me to ask for help. However, my sweet kitty, Forrest, has had a recent medical episode that’s been very tough both emotionally and financially. After several vet visits in the past week and a very difficult night at an emergency vet hospital, it seems he has pneumonia. And while he’s stabilized and home now, we’re not out of the woods for at least two more weeks as he finishes antibiotics and I work to get him eating and drinking normally again, with likely necessary follow-up care and testing. I know it’s the holidays and everyone has their own things going on in life, but if you feel moved to and can spare anything to help with Forrest’s medical funds, I would be immensely grateful. And even if all you can spare is positive thoughts or prayers, I’ll happily take all of those too as we work to get him over this. If you’re a friend or family member who’s ever met him or seen my social media stories and posts about him, you know he’s a total love bug - he’s managed to convert several of my friends who weren’t cat people and vet staff have always raved about him and how sweet he is. I strongly believe he still has some love and life to give, if I can continue to get him the medical care he needs right now, but there’s never a guarantee. He hasn’t had the easiest life, as I adopted him at 10 a few years ago after his lifelong owner passed away, and I intend to continue making the rest of it as easy and comfortable as possible no matter the outcome for this.
