Support fourteenfifteen gallery and The Minnow after Fire
Donation protected
Last night, the beloved community art spaces at the 1400 block of 4th street SW—fourteenfifteen gallery, Alpaca, and the Minnow—were impacted by a fire. While most of the structures are intact and homewise is covering structural repairs, many important tools, items and artifacts were damaged.
These spaces are part of the rich fabric and history of DIY art and music in Albuquerque. Volunteer and collectively run, the 1400 block on 4th street is an essential part of freedom of expression and creative flourishing in our city. Our community is our backbone!
While we don’t know the full extent of the damage, we estimate that we will have to replace a fair amount of equipment, including cultural mainstay Basement Films equipment.
Please consider helping us return to cultivating forward thinking, challenging conceptual art that is openly accessible!
