Support Fox's Surgery and Recovery

We are asking for assistance with surgery cost for our American Akita. He has experienced a super rare injury, causing him intense pain. Back story for what has happened and why we are asking for assistance: Fox, our 4 yr old American Akita, has been our son's best friend and stands by our son for emotional support. He would run around fetching toys and stick, he would roll around and chase our son and Fox's sister around the yard. He would go on walk, or runs if he had built up energy, with our family. Everytime he meets new people, they would be shocked to find out his breed with them stating "Wow, he is such a laid back and well mannered boy! I can't believe that he is an American Akita." He has grown up with our 14 yr old son, sleeping in his room, with other animals, and socializing with people.
The injury: He was playing in the back yard with our son, jogging around when the next thing we know, he yelps and jumps. We rushed over to him not knowing what to expect. We looked him over, there were no scratches, bumps, and he wasn't showing any signs of discomfort besides not being able to put much pressure on his paw. We have been to many vet appointments to have him checked out. After $2,000 and those vet visits, we were referred to a specialty vet. When seeing the specialist, we have been told that he need surgery on the ligament that attaches to the inside bicep and shoulder blade. The estimated cost of the surgery $4,653.50. We have depleted our saving from the other services he has had done and we need help to help him heal and not hurt. It saddens us when we have to watch him whimper because he can't get up and run around with our son or our other dog.
