Support Fr. John Stavropoulos' Stroke Recovery

Fr. John Stavropoulos, of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Columbus, OH, suffered a debilitating stroke on January 14, 2022. He is, according to Presvytera Elaine, “resting and healing.” However, we understand that this will be a long road for Father John and his family. We are praying for a miracle; however, we are realistic about the significant medical expenses incurred as he strives to regain the use of the stroke impacted side. His stroke, as with all strokes, takes considerable time and prayer. This week, Fr. John had a tracheostomy performed and a feeding tube inserted. Presvytera Elaine Madonis Stavropoulos and Father John have provided comfort and support to many in their ministry over the years. We have an opportunity to give back to them with prayers and financial support if possible. The recovery from a stroke of this nature is long and arduous.

May God grant him a full and speedy recovery for the glory of His name!
