Support FRC Team Ultraviolet!

Please support FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team Ultraviolet #8567, a high school team, which relies on sponsorships and donations from organizations and individuals in support of equitable, accessible inclusive STEM education.
Competing in FRC is expensive. See how the costs add up:
Competition: For the 2023 New England District Champs ($6000 total), we paid for registration ($4000), food ($1,200-1,900), U-Haul rental ($300), hotel rooms, transportation, and more. For the annual competition, BattleCry, we pay $400 to register.
Robot Parts: This year, we have cannibalized our old robots to construct new robots. We hope we can stop cannibalizing in the future and repair our old robots so we can display our robots in our community. Hence, we are aiming to raise $3500 for purchasing parts for our 2024 robot.
Summer projects: Last summer, we built a swerve drivetrain and a scissor-lift cart for our robot
Tools and Shop Equipment: We plan to purchase more tools (e.g. a milling machine) to facilitate building the robot.
Outreach: We'd love to continue running high-quality STEM workshops to promote STEM and robotics education for kids
Food: Many of our sessions run from 3-8 pm, so the students and mentors are hungry for dinner. These long sessions are critical in ensuring the team finishes the robot in under ten weeks.
Merch: In 2023, we spent $600 on Team Ultraviolet T-shirts for everyone attending the competitions. We'll need merch for future students
We welcome private and corporate donations. Please consider employer gift matching and any grants that you might apply to on behalf of our team. Donations can be targeted toward anything or discretionary toward our budget items. We thank you in advance for helping to fund our expanding team, participation in competitions, and community efforts.
