Support Freddy Mendez’s Family in Crisis

Hi, my name is Freddy Mendez. I am a father of 6 amazing, hardworking, and dedicated children. From the ages of 3-17. Recently, my family has been hit with a huge tragedy. My wife isn’t in the picture anymore. Shes been dealing with her own mental problems. But ultimately, She has decided to leave this family, and leaving me the only parent. My wife took the only vehicle we have in the household. My children miss their mother dearly, and have been deeply affected by her absence. It’s been difficult for me to find a job, without any transportation, childcare, or even stability for my children. Ever since she’s left it’s been difficult for me to keep up on bills. Right now. myself, my only daughter, (16) and my oldest son (17) have been working endlessly to catch up on bills. While maintaining school, helping their dad, work, and being a parent to the rest of their siblings, my 2 oldest children have really been an inspiration to so many. My son, is very intelligent and strives to go to university next year. My daughter, is the most determined person I’ve ever met with the best heart. Both work so hard and help me so much and I wish I could give them the world. Although we’ve done the best we can, we still aren’t able to keep up. We’ve fallen too behind on rent. Our landlord has reached out to me and filed for an eviction. If the eviction were to follow through, my children would have to be placed somewhere with DCS. We don’t have any family in state, nor a vehicle to even let them stay in/get them to someone who could care for them. I love my children dearly, and I pray every night that I can make ends meet and help my family. It’s been a very difficult time for my family, and all I want is for them to never experience getting taken away from each other, or their father. God bless you, and thank you for reading this.
