Support French Broad Exchange after Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
French Broad Exchange, a beloved used bookstore located in Marshall, NC, was destroyed by unprecedented flood waters due to Hurricane Helene. FBE was a fusion of nearly 15,000 well-curated books, vintage clothing, and vinyl records in an eclectic space where the vibe was comfortable and low-key, the snark edgy and humor subtle.
The historic flood of 1916 crested at 22 feet. Waters associated with Hurricane Helene crested at 27 feet. As with every business in Marshall, the river took away much of what we owned. But not our spirit.
My goal is to re-establish FBE as a vibrant part of a resilient community. There are many obstacles to overcome. Uncertainty is a certainty in life. I hope, however, to see you in Marshall.
Thank you for your support.
