Support Fryborg's Comeback After Devastating Loss

It's me, your fearless leader, Jonathan Gibbons.

As most of you know, the Fryborg food truck was obliterated in a massive accident on August 17th. In the immediate days that followed I was focused on the well-being of my staff. I'm grateful that they are now on the mend.

The last several days as a business owner I have worked to borrow trucks and trailers to make sure I could keep my scheduling commitments to my customers. However, I desperately need a new truck for Fryborg.

After three days on the phone with my insurance company I am once again devastated to learn of a policy error. Rather than collecting enough ($80,000) to replace the truck, the maximum they will pay me is $44,000.

I was told by the company that I could try to sue my agent under their errors and omissions insurance, however that will take a very long time to resolve. Time which I do not have. So here I am, asking for help.

I know that so many people need help right now but I don't see any other way at the moment to make up the insurance shortfall.

To add insult to injury, I just made the final payment on my food truck this past week, and had done about $9000 worth of improvements in the two months leading up to the accident.

As a small business owner I cannot absorb these costs.

Finally, August 21st was the 12th anniversary of Fryborg. In those twelve years, I've loved helping to celebrate your birthdays, graduations, school events, company picnics, and weddings. The weekend of the accident I was a planning anniversary specials, but now instead of celebrating that milestone I'm focused on moving forward.

Fryborg is not a franchise. I started this business with a small loan, some help from my mother, and my savings. But to get Fryborg to its 13th anniversary will be the biggest challenge I've faced yet, and I'm going to need your help.
