Support FTC Aztechs #18397 for 2025 World Championship

Hello, we are the Aztechs, FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team #18397 from Urbandale, Iowa, and we are thrilled to share that we have advanced to the FTC World Championship 2025 taking place in Houston, TX in April!

We are reaching out in need of your help to make our dream of competing at the highest level a reality. Our team of 10 passionate students from Waukee, West Des Moines, and Urbandale has dedicated themselves to advancing STEM education since our inception during the 2016-2017 First Lego League (FLL) season. Beyond competition, we are committed to fostering innovation and creativity within our team and community and dedicated to advancing STEM education.

FTC is more than just a robotics competition for us; it is an opportunity to develop invaluable skills in STEM, teamwork, and innovation. With the guidance of our adult coaches and mentors, we have honed our abilities in designing, building, programming, and operating robots to compete head-to-head in alliance formats.

On March 1st, 2025, we achieved a significant milestone and our season-long goal of qualifying for the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas, from April 16th to 20th, 2025. At the Iowa Championship, our team won the Winning Alliance and earned 2nd place for the Inspire Award, securing our spot at Worlds. We are proud to be one of the four teams representing Iowa.

However, as a community team, we rely entirely on external sources, such as grants, sponsors, fundraising, and generous donations from the community, to fund our participation in the FTC World Championship.

Your support will directly contribute to our journey to the Worlds. Funds raised will cover registration fees, travel expenses, lodging, robot parts, and other event-related costs incurred by the team. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal and makes a meaningful difference in our journey.
