On October 9, my sister Lluvia unexpectedly lost her partner, John Coberly. He leaves behind their 8-year-old daughter Nia along with his three older children, his siblings, and those who knew and loved him.

Lluvia and Nia are and will continue to be surrounded by love, family, and friends. Nothing quite prepares you for something like this and we are deeply devastated. I am organizing this support fund to assist with funeral expenses, living costs, and counseling. The effects of this loss will be felt for years to come but I'm hopeful that the community of folks who love these two girls, and those who loved John, can help alleviate one aspect of stress while they grieve and process.
