Support Fund for Vinson Owen Break-in Victims
Donation protected
On the morning of Friday the 13th and ironically on World Kindness Day, brazen thieves smashed windows and entered the unlocked vehicles of some of our beloved teachers and staff of the Vinson Owen Elementary School, while they were hard at work teaching. Needless to say, this heinous crime has left the community shocked and appalled. These teachers have sacrificed and dedicated themselves to teaching children (in person) during this unprecedented time and are now left feeling especially violated in an already stressful time. This fund is dedicated to reimbursing the victims of these break-ins for any out of pocket expenses, such as insurance deductibles and losses not covered by insurance. Any additional funds raised will be used to perform random acts of kindness to show the Vinson Owen staff and teachers across Winchester how much this community appreciates them and values their commitment to the children of this town during this time of crisis. THIS FUND IS IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THE WINCHESTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS OR ANY PARENT ORGANIZATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE WINCHESTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS. IT IS SIMPLY A FUND SET UP BY A CONCERNED COMMUNITY MEMBER WITH NO CHILDREN IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS RIGHT NOW.
