We’ve shot the first half of our fabulous comedy “Hot Flush.”

Lead star, Ana Isabel, is the creative mindset producing this hilarious new tale about two middle aged Aussie women, who are brought closer than they ever planned, when their worlds fall out from under them.

Director: Tom Conyers, is the visionary maestro of the cinematic arts, skillfully weaving together a tapestry of emotions and storytelling approach that captivates and mesmerises audiences.

Logline:

Middle-aged, divorced, penniless - these girls are just getting started.

The main characters, Izzy ( who is a pot smoking, ditzy, new aged eccentric bohemian “Earth Mother”) and Cynthia ( a highly strung upper class, pragmatic lady teetering on alcoholism) are cause for some side-splitting antics when both women are forced to cohabitate whilst dealing with life’s ups and downs, and going through divorce and the joys of menopause! But like all great comedies, there is also some seriousness, as the film tackles the increased cost-of-living crises, and the way women can find themselves in straitened economic circumstances later in life.

As you may appreciate, a little bit like its characters, this movie is driven by great Aussie battlers in the film industry, who believe what they have created will become another iconic movie likened to that of The Castle and Muriels Wedding.

BENEFITS FOR FINANCIERS:

Our goal is to have our film shown on a streaming channel, with the prime purpose being to advertise the talents of Ana Wall and Tom Conyers and the actors and everyone else involved.

Crediting:

Anyone who does put money forward will be credited within the film's credits under a designated crowdfunding section. Anyone contributing $500 or more towards the film, will also receive an Executive Producer credit.

Screening:

Once the film has completed post-production , we will be holding a private screening, where you will be sent an invite to this exclusive screening.
