Support Furloughed Mosaic Family Services Workers

Hi there! We are Mosaic Workers Union. We are experienced and passionate workers, and many of us share similar lived-experiences to the communities we serve at Mosaic Family Services: refugees, immigrants, and survivors of violence.

Right now - we badly need your support.

We announced our union at a time when refugee services are under attack by the current presidential administration. Across the state and country, refugee nonprofits like ours have had their funding frozen. Because of this funding freeze, 24 of our beloved and hard working coworkers are furloughed and without income to support their families. We are pushing to start negotiating a fair contract and have a voice in our workplace during these difficult times.

As we push to start negotiating our first contract, we also want to support our furloughed coworkers. Our goal is to raise $60,000 to help provide direct financial aid to them. Please stand with the furloughed staff of Mosaic Family Services by donating any amount you can. Even if you can’t give money, sharing this fundraiser with others will make a huge difference.

As a union, we stand by the values that Mosaic Family Services promotes: respect for human dignity, freedom for survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence, and justice for those who face human rights violations. Many of us first came to Mosaic as clients, seeking support and compassion on our healing journey. We serve and come from communities of refugees, survivors of violence, and other marginalized groups who need fair wages to support their families and be thriving members of our community.
