In Memory of Reggie Dwayne Cowling: Scholarship Fund for Aspiring Electrical Engineers

On June 8, 2024, we lost a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend—Reggie Dwayne Cowling. Reg, affectionately known to many as "Reggie" or "The Reg," passed away surrounded by his family, his biggest fans. Born on September 14, 1951, Reg’s life was a testament to dedication, love, and unwavering support for those around him.

Reg was a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering in 1974. Known for his sharp intellect and passion for all things electrical, he could solve complex problems with ease and had a special fondness for the number Pi. His enthusiasm for engineering was matched only by his love for his family.

To honor Reggie’s legacy and support future generations of engineers, we are raising scholarship funds that will provide financial assistance to deserving students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Arkansas. It is our way of celebrating Reggie’s life and ensuring that his passion for engineering continues to inspire and support young minds.
