Support Gabe Harvey's Memorial Fund

On Sunday evening, 9/1/24, our friend and coworker Gabe Harvey was the victim of a horrific tragedy. Gabe was out celebrating with beloved coworkers from Methodist Hospital ICU where Gabe worked as a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) since 2022. Gabe was working as a HUC as he completed nursing school, he was set to graduate in December 2024. A drunk driver drove his car onto the patio at the Park Tavern in St Louis Park, MN striking and killing Gabe and a waitress (Kristina Folkerts). Four of Gabe’s colleagues, nurses from Methodist ICU, were also injured in the event.

Gabe and his partner, Denzel, recently became new homeowners and were in the process of making the house their home. There was not a soul that Gabe met that he did not leave an impression on, he always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. His ability to include everyone and make them feel seen and appreciated is unmatched. Gabe was kind, smart, hilarious, and so incredibly positive. If he was not assisting staff, patients, or family members, you could find him skipping down the hallway encouraging everyone to have a lovely day. We will forever miss his smile, laugh, and genuine spirit.
