Support Gabriela's Recovery After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On behalf of Gabriela Obregon.
Gabriela, 23, a student studying to be a surgical technician, was visiting her brother in Miami, Florida, while on spring break and was riding as a passenger on a moped on March 10, 2025. The moped was tragically struck by a car. This happened at the intersection of Northeast 79th Street and Fifth Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on Monday. While the driver of the moped only had minor injuries, Gabriela sustained multiple skull fractures requiring emergency surgery and was taken to Jackson Hospital where she had surgery on March 11 at approximately 1:00AM.

Gabriela underwent brain surgery due to the significant injuries she received from the crash. She has had seizures since her accident and gets dizzy while trying to sit up or stand.
Currently, Gabriela is out of the ICU and has an amazing team of rehabilitation therapists who are starting to work with her a little each day to help her recover.
Gabriela's family would be able to use these funds for medical expenses and to support her for the months of recovery she has ahead of her.
Any donation would be helpful, and the family welcomes your prayers and well wishes. Thank you in advance for your loving support.
