Support Galaxy's Mobile Pet Grooming Salon

Hello!

My name is Destiny and I have been a professional pet groomer for over 7 years. I am seeking funding for a down payment on a mobile grooming van for my new business Galaxy’s Pet Salon. I have always been an animal lover and am very passionate about what I do making sure animals look and feel their best. With my mobile grooming business, I would like to groom dogs, cats, and exotic animals such as rabbits, ferrets, and Guinea pigs. There are very few groomers for exotic animals and I would love to fill this void because there is a big need. I would also like to be able to travel to people who are unable to drive such as to the homes of people who are physically disabled as well as to senior living facilities. I will also be traveling to underserved communities to provide services not readily available. As a way of giving back, I plan to groom shelter animals in need. To help them get adopted, I will share their photos on my social media. I have worked in brick and mortar stores my whole career and I see the stresses of a loud chaotic environment. It is difficult to see animals kenneled for hours at a time. I love animals too much to work in this type of environment any longer. Mobile grooming is so much less stressful for the animals. They are not kenneled, they are close to their own homes, and they receive one-on-one service in a quiet space. I want to make a difference in pet owners' lives and help get homeless pets adopted. All I need is a little help getting started. Any amount of a donation will help me reach my goal of opening a mobile grooming business. I will utilize the funds to purchase a vehicle, get the vehicle wrapped with my logo, and to purchase necessary supplies.
