Help Us Locate & Bring Akheel Home

Hi. I’m galila I have 3 boys. I had Akheel in a previous relationship 10 years ago. The relationship didn’t last long because of domestic violence. Akheel taught me to be selfless. He taught me what it is to be a mom. I have 2 other boys with my current husband who also adore Akheel. So does his stepdad, my husband. We all miss him and what he brought to the family through his adventurous, wise, and kind-loving spirit.

I am humbly asking for funds to put towards the expenses & debts i have accrued attempting to locate & bring Akheel back home to the states where has had lived with me for 10 years. This has been an ongoing, heartbreaking, yet expensive process to be frank.

Akheel is 10. He has 2 little brothers here at home waiting for him. He has only lived here with me as his primary parent. I have been the active and providing parent in his life from the day he was born. I take great pride in this.

His dad relocated to France. I was advised (bad advice) to allow him to have time sharing there. Being a cooperative co-parent-I obliged.

I didn’t want to send him because every time he would have time sharing with dad there was a horrible story told to me, an excuse why he actually didn’t go, or just flat out sinister moves made to hide the real plans for Akheel, when he would leave, come home…so on. However I let him go.

He was supposed to return on July 28. A day before returning his dad told me he was not returning him. Prior to this, I called the airlines myself because I started getting suspicious. They confirmed there was no return flight for my son. In fact they said the itinerary I was provided by dad was most likely falsified-meaning there was never a return flight.

So dad tells me his wife is pregnant, come get him if I want him to come home (our agreement says his dad is supposed to return him home and pay for ticket)

I went to France anyway. He told me to let me know our return flight info and he would have him at the airport 3 hours before we leave back to the states.

Great right? I’ll go get him and no problem.

WRONG!

As soon as I got off the plane and my phone loaded…I had a text saying he is not returning him period.

So I went to every entity possible in France….and I was hoping they would help me get him home. From the airport police to the embassy. I contacted many authorities in France before I made this trip. So they knew what was going on.

They help me locate Akheel. This was in Paris but Akheel was 3 hours away in Troyes. So the officers in Paris rushed me over to the train station and I got on a 2 hour train ride to Troyes. This nightmare was ending…..

nope!

got there. They wouldn’t let me see him. I waited from 9pm-3am thinking I was going to see him and I was told I could take him. So I waited patiently

well France doesn’t honor American court orders…and because dad didn’t want to release him, they let him stay with him.

I can’t go into details as to WHY this is a horrible idea. What I can say is Akheel should be home here with us. His whole life is here. He has been completely isolated from his entire family here. Even he was playing video games online and talking to his friends here and that’s been taken from him. Dad and his wife are constantly changing numbers and they moved. Again something defined as not allowed in our order. I don’t get to speak with him but 1 time every 2-3 weeks. Again…..can’t share all efforts here as to what I am doing now to get him back to the states but I am doing.

the money is for lawyer fees and the debts accrued during this process that weren’t anticipated. There is an ongoing cost in locating him. I don’t even know where he is….when I was in France they wouldn’t disclose the address all because dad said no….It’s been a lot and if you need specifics to feel comfortable donating please feel free to reach out.

Akheel is my first child. He is extremely bright and he was on honor roll. He played sports year round, a little beast at basketball. Loves to read. Watch Marvel. Sports.
