Support Ganado Indians' Sacrifice for Team
Donation protected
On May 24th, two Ganado Indians ballers graduated from Ganado High School. The next day they faced the most important baseball game of their lives: the final game of a best-of-three series to determine Regional Semifinalist Champions.
With the series tied 1-1, these two young men made a mature decision to skip their project graduation celebration to get a good nights rest to be fully prepared for their game the next day. The commitment to their team and respect for their coaches and teammates was clear. Their parents supported this decision ensuring they were home, rested, and ready for the battle.
These young men demonstrated true leadership, guiding a team of underclassmen by their actions and dedication. However, their decision to skip the graduation celebration came at a cost of more than sweat: they were denied the $1,700 reward given to seniors that attended the all-night lock-in.
Their choice to prioritize their team's success over a night of celebration should be commended not penalized. Their sacrifice for the benefit of their team is a testament to their character and leadership.
If you share this sentiment, I encourage you to contribute any amount to help recoup their monetary loss and give them what they rightfully deserve. Let's honor their commitment and hard work by supporting them as they continue their journey.
