Support Gary Flannery's Cancer Recovery Journey

Go Fund Me
As you can see and hear from this wonderful opening video and interview, I, Francis Gary Flannery, have had a long and successful career in Dance and Theatre all around the world, starring on Broadway and in Hollywood! I will include a brief bio after this announcement.
I have been diagnosed and have begun treatment for Fourth Stage Prostate Cancer, and while insurance is covering many of the bills for MRI and Chemotherapy, I am having to pay and copay for the treatment and multiple doctor visits weekly!
My doctor has given me a strong recommendation for a complete recovery, and with God’s blessing and help from my family and friends, I will return to an active teaching and traveling agenda! I am asking for donations for myself, but I will also add an address of my Cancer Center if you would like to donate to my medical bills directly. I am on a very limited income from Social Security, and all monies collected from Go Fund Me will be used for the rising costs I will face shortly. I was just told that one prescription of my twice daily pill will cost $12,000 A MONTH! Insurance will cover some if not most of this one though.
I will set up and keep track of donations—AND ALL AMOUNTS WILL HELP—and those able to send $100 or more will receive a package of rare sheet music from my own collection! Make sure you would leave a real mailbox address.
THANK YOU for your time, and contributions and I will keep updates on this site as well as social media Facebook, Instagram etc.!
With Love from the DANCIN’ MAN!!
Gary Flannery, is a professional performer who toured the world as Shirley MacLaine’s partner; was a Principal Dancer on many TV Shows and Hollywood movies; and was Bob Fosse’s LEAD dancer on Broadway in “PIPPIN” and “DANCIN”, and was Fosse’s Principal Dancer in the movie “ALL THAT JAZZ!” Gary serves as a strong leader, teaching Master Classes, Lectures, and Seminars at Universities, Dance Schools and Colleges around the world!
Gary teaches ANY level of FOSSE REP and Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, some Hip-Hop, Music Theatre specialties, as well as Dance and Music Theatre History, directs and choreographs, writes plays, musicals and revues, and still performs. Flannery was Bob Fosse’s protégé, after receiving scholarships in ballet to Balanchine’s School of American Ballet and the Juilliard School!
Presently Gary is working hard on finishing his 300 years of work on a multi-level project “The Great American Revue” with books, documentaries and revivals being planned. Bob Fosse called him the “Bull” for the sheer non-stop, dance-till-you-drop attitude he took into rehearsals as well as performances, and Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon and FRED ASTAIRE—all commenting on seeing Gary in Dancin’ in 1979 said “It was one of the finest dance performances they had ever seen!”
