Support Gayle in Memory of Derek Thompson

Derek Thompson, affectionately known as "Dthomp," was one of the most remarkable people that any of us had the honor of knowing. His warmth, kindness, and genuine spirit left a lasting impact on everyone he came in contact with. The world was simply a better place with Dthomp in it. Losing him so suddenly at only 39 has left many of us shocked and heartbroken... but none more so than his mother.

Derek was the beloved only child of a devoted single mother, Gayle, and anyone who knew him knew exactly how much she meant to him. And I know that Derek's only concern right now would be to ensure that his mother is cared for and supported during this incredibly painful time.

Many people have reached out and asked what they can do to help. Well, all his friends and anyone that has been touched by Dthomp's life can contribute whatever they can to help ease the financial burden for his mother. Your support will provide her with some relief and allow her to focus on healing, knowing that her son's final wishes are being honored. Sadly, Derek passed away on the opposite side of the country from his mother, so any donation is truly appreciated. Any amount is going to make an impact.
