Geechie Anne Productions is a Multi-Disciplined Performing Arts and Entertainment Company that produces: Live & Recorded Music Performances, Musical Theater, Theater, and Professional Dance Performances. Our mission is to provide the highest quality Arts and Entertainment Globally to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. We are dedicated to unique, intriguing and highly entertaining work that reimagines, and adds a new dimension to the familiar, and all-new works we present.

In addition to our In-House Productions, our company assists a wide range of Artists, Arts organizations, Dance Companies and Educational Institutions. Geechie Anne Productions has Filled Summer intensive positions, Arts management positions, and permanent work in the UAE through our dossier of Performing Arts Professionals.

Geechie Anne Productions' Founder-Raquelle Chavis, is a Multi-Disciplined Performing Arts Professional with 40+ Years in the Performing Arts Industry. Most notably, she is known as a Former Principle Dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater under the direction of Alvin Ailey until he died in 1989 and Judith Jamison until 1994. Raquelle's career was never limited to dance; she has appeared in “Tony” award-winning musical productions, "Emmy" award-winning specials, TV and Stages worldwide, Acted in Films and Performed as a Professional Singer. Geechie Anne Productions was created in 1997. It began as a company built on the multiple offers and opportunities Raquelle received without an agent’s representation. Never wanting to be a company that focused solely on itself and only on in-house productions, she intentionally grew the company into a business that supports the creative development of others. By 2002, Geechie Anne Productions began providing Numerous services for other Artists, Arts organizations, Dance Companies, and Arts Institutions Internationally. We hope to gain a reputation as a leading company that offers excellent Performing Arts content and creative consulting services worldwide.

On October 28th & 29th, 2022, Geechie Anne Productions Premiered our First live Post Pandemic Performances -at The Diana Wortham Theater in Asheville, NC. The Show: Penthouses & Back Alley Ways is a sophisticated evening celebrating the Easy, Understated Range, Elegance, and Tough Temperament of Jazz Music. Two exciting nights of Music Starring Vocalist-Raquelle Chavis, featuring the music of Kurt Weill, Chick Corea, Ivan Lins, Johnny Mercer, Laura Nyro, and so much more. Raquelle Has "Literally" put her band back together with several award-winning musicians joining her from NYC, ATL, Brazil and Austria, heightening this profound and masterful production. One could describe this show as a Jazz "Mix-Tape." This night at the Theater, emphasizing "SHOW," has helped move Geechie Anne Productions in the direction needed to achieve long-term success.

Women in this field of expertise are not often thought of first to Direct, Design, Choreograph or Produce large-scale productions. Geechie Anne Productions is on a mission to change that narrative. We serve a particular market niche that is viable and lucrative but needs more representation. Geechie Anne Productions is primed to be a leading force in the Field of Arts and Entertainment, yet how we proceed in the future is crucial. Knowing we have the opportunity to increase our audience base by more than 50% is our driving force. Our Goal within the next 5 Years is to Create and Produce several "New" live Music, Dance, Theater, compelling Virtual Content, Live Streaming actual events, and Performance works that appeal to various tastes and Audiences of all ages and backgrounds. We expect long-term financial stability from multiple revenue streams by maintaining S.M.A.R.T- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound to deliver the best quality productions and services within established production budgets.
