Support Geoffrey's Recovery from Spinal Cord Injury

On April 20th, every parent's worst dream came true for us. Our son, Geoffrey, traveled from Idaho to Maine for a snowmobile event. Tragically, during the competition, his sled hit a rough patch, causing him to lose control. The sled struck him in the middle of his back, resulting in a severe spinal cord injury. He was airlifted to a hospital in Maine and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehab in Boston.

Geoffrey's diagnosis has profoundly impacted his everyday life and mobility. He is working hard to adjust to his new reality, learning essential self-care skills, and striving to regain independence. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his recovery, Geoffrey remains determined.

The funds raised will help alleviate the financial burden on Geoffrey and our family. Medical expenses, ongoing rehabilitation, therapy, and specialized equipment are substantial. We also need to modify our home with handicap-accessible amenities like a bathroom and ramps to facilitate Geoffrey's mobility.

Beyond medical costs, there are everyday expenses and bills that need covering until Geoffrey can return to work, which is currently uncertain. Your generosity will provide essential support during this challenging time, allowing Geoffrey to focus on his recovery without added financial stress.
