Support Geoff's Family During Hospitalization & Recovery
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of April 25th Geoff had a massive seizure and cardiac event. His partner Heather called 911 and started CPR. He was taken to their local hospital where they were able to restart his heart, but the seizures continued, so he was put in a drug-induced coma and air lifted to a hospital in Seattle that was better equipped to treat him. Geoff is slowly recovering, but there is some brain damage showing on his scans - we don't know to what extent. He's been weaned off sedation but isn't fully awake yet. His doctors continue to be hopeful based on his progress so far, but this is likely to be a long recovery.
While Geoff is hospitalized his family is traveling daily to be with him in the hospital, over 2 hours (each way) from their homes. This has brought significant unplanned expenses when what they really need to focus on is Geoff and his recovery efforts. Geoff was the primary income for their family, so we are trying to help them make ends meet during his recovery so they can prioritize spending time together instead of raising funds to get by. If you are able, please consider making a donation - any amount helps.
